Machine Operator

Programmed Skilled Workforce are currently seeking reliable and experienced Machine/ Forklift Operators to join our client, a leading manufacturer in the food industry.


Our client specializes in spices, seasoning mixes, sauces, and other flavoured condiments for some of the biggest food chains and brands in Australia!


We have shifts available on Day Shift and up to 10-hour shifts on offer.



About the Role

As a Machine Operator, you will:

• Operate in an automated environment where goods are palletized.
• Start up and monitor production machinery.
• Oversee production lines, troubleshoot issues, and resolve errors.
• Replenish the line with drums of plastic wrap, cut, molded, and filled with product.
• Operate a walker stacker to bring in sauce drums.
• Lift and empty packaged sauce into the production line.
• Work alongside forklift operators moving in and out of the department.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience operating machinery in a food production or manufacturing environment (1-2 years preferred as minimum)
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot production machinery with confidence

• Strong knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice)
• Good understanding of SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards
